Taking the GRE in Taiwan

Today we signed up to take the GRE in Taipei. B tried and tried to sign up online, but the website kept crashing. We were reluctant to call them, because the only number given was in Malaysia, but finally I gave up and made the international call. It was a good thing that I did, too, because there were only two spots left in all of Taiwan, just enough for us. We were very lucky to be able to take the test! Apparently, they have a huge problem with cheating in Taiwan, and so every test is split into two parts: one on the computer, which we take Sept. 10th, and one on paper, which we take Oct. 23rd. I am rather nervous about it: I am going to start studying this weekend, as much as I can.

My new job is fine: teaching is much easier for me now that I've gotten used to it, and I'm much better at it. In fact, my bosses have been complimenting me a lot. It's easier to teach older children, and most of them are much better behaved than three year olds are.
