Lately little R has just been getting cuter and cuter. She has so much personality and is so full of enthusiasm and affection. Yesterday I smiled at her from across the room, and she threw up her arms in the air saying "Mama!" Then she ran over and hugged me (and slimed me on the chin with one of her open-mouthed "kisses"). Maybe all the boring parenting work of changing endless diapers and getting up in the middle of the night over and over is starting to pay off.
